Week 1
In week 1, our lecturer gave us a small brief on the projects we will be doing for this semester. We also did a small exercise in class where we have to connect the small clips of a video together using Adobe After Effects.

Week 2
In week 2, we learned about the different type of frame shot, and also a small history of the first ever movie being produce.

Week 3
In week 3, we learned about film sound/ sound design.
  • Sound elements (Speech, Sound effects, Music)
  • Speech (dialogue, voice over)
  • Sound effects (ambience, background)
  • Music (Music can enhance the dramatic narrative and emotion)
  • Dubbing
  • Foley

Lalin editing exercise

In each of the small clips, there will be a part where the director say action and cut. We will have to connect the small clips and cut out the part where director say action and cut.
