  • Introduction for yourself
  • Experience with interactive design
  • Expectations for interactive design
Have at least 2 paragraph for each section. Include hyperlinks and lists and either ordered/ unordered lists.

Project 2 Landing Page

We have to choose a subject/company we want to work on. It can be to improve the current website or to solve a problem. Since I have an Instagram account where I work on posters, I decided to make a portfolio website for it. We only have to work on the landing page.

Final Project Client website

We have to team up with a classmate, and we would have to give each other a subject to work on for the website. So we would be an actual client for each other. I asked my group mate to work on a website for my potrfolio and he asked me to work on a tiramisu business. The website have to be a 5 page website.

REFLECTION

Experience

In this Semester, we had learned about some of the basics of HTML, CSS etc. We started practising working on projects with images and also concept for events. It feels like for project 2 and final we learned more about how to present your ideas and concept to a client and executing it. It was definitely very tough for me, this may be one of the hardest module I've ever had but I believe there will be even more challenges in the next few years.

We did have a few physical class this week which I was quite happy and excited about because I feel like I can focus more in physical class. But due the rise of Covid cases we did ended going back to online class for the last few weeks. 


Observation

The whole process has been very fun. I was very excited to work on project 2 and final project because for both of those project you are working on it as if it was for an actual client, and it always feels so satisfying to see your website working, even though it is just a concept, the end result always made me feel proud.

Even though this module had ended I am still making a lot of beginner mistakes. There is still so much more to learn and I shouldn't rest. Honestly it made me quite worried and I feel like I need to practise more and spend more of my own time learning.



Finding

I always felt that coding is very hard and it requires a lot of focus. Before even going into this semester I already knew this would be tough because I literally have 0 patience in things and I am not book reader, I for me I can't handle looking at a large amount of text so looking at the coding screen filled with text just always gives me headache. I always have a problem with too much text, that is why I always prefer to learn things from youtube with visuals and audio rather than books. But I wanted to work on branding when I graduate, so I understand that this module is very important and essential for that career path as well. So I just really have to keep pushing. 

This module was tough for me but one thing that keeps me going is how I felt happy and proud from all the little details in this module. I get so happy every time when I successfully code something, even when it's just a super simple button, I still feel insanely satisfied and proud. It just feels like a video game where you get small achievements from small things.
