It was a place of community and trust for the people. With the rises of convenient stores and supermarkets, more and more kedai runcit is slowly getting eliminated. Although this was a huge part of our culture, it seems that sometimes we don't really talk much about it. That is why this project was created as a way to document the beautiful culture of kedai runcit in Malaysia. This project would be fully individual and we will be working on it for the entire semester.  My project will be based on the Sustainable Development Goal 3 - "Good Health and Well-being". With the amount of self test kit being used everyday, it creates a huge amount of plastic waste. The self test kit is not user friendly as it creates a lot of confusion when people are trying to understand how to use it. To solve this issue, I will be creating an environment friendly packaging that is much more easier to understand. And I also plan to break the stereotypical medical packaging design in Malaysia.
